This webpage has been set up to give the community information on the master planning process to determine the future development directions for Manuka Oval.
In March 2009 the Minister for Sport and Recreation, Mr Andrew Barr announced that the Government was developing a business case and master plan to guide future development of the Manuka Oval over the next 25 years. The government is also undertaking a similar project for Canberra Stadium.
On 26 May 2009 the Minister announced that the Government was seeking the community’s views about the options that have been developed for the Manuka Oval.
The Government is committed to consulting widely with different groups including sporting groups and the Canberra-wide community.
This website provides you with information about this important project and how you can become involved.
Input from the community will help decide the best options for the future development of these valuable resources.
