After a whirlwind cricket season last summer, Manuka Oval will once again be the host of sporting entertainment in Canberra. In the wake of hosting its first international test match, Canberra has proven that it has an appetite for cricket. Manuka Oval will once again have another first, a T20 international with the Australian Men’s cricket team.
Manuka Oval will play host to a series of T20 matches, featuring the PM’s XI, the Australian Men’s side fresh from their Ashes success and an in-form Australian Women’s cricket team after their recent defeat of Sri Lanka in the T20 format.
The Sydney Thunder will return to play men’s and women’s league matches at the Oval to bring some big hitting moments to the capital. A great family night out during the school holidays with entertainment for kids and adults alike.
The season kicks off with the PM’s Xi vs Sri Lanka on October 24 and starts 7:10pm.
