The Federal Government has endorsed advice to introduce further social distancing measures.

This includes the requirement that non-essential organised outdoor public gatherings of more than 500 people and indoor gatherings of 100 people should not occur. This includes, for example, gatherings in stadiums, theatres and other events where people are together in close proximity for a sustained period of time.

We want to reassure Canberrans that we are very well placed to manage the outbreak of COVID-19 here in the ACT, and we will continue to assess the implementation of public health measures in a proportionate manner.
